I wanted to explore the Olympic Fairmont Hotel. Built in 1924 and known as “Seattle’s Grand Dame,” the hotel turned 100 last year. It is a truly elegant hotel and will be a welcome addition the my VINTAGE HOTELS section of this website.
The photo above left was shot from the mezzanine and I can just imagine the formal gowns that once graced the halls of this grand hotel.
Below me is the lobby bar where we logged some serious Cosmo time.
