Welcome to the 50th Anniversary website for CHIC or the longer version Crossdressers Heterosexual Intersocial Club. The purpose of this website is to tell the story of the club and most importantly the back story and context of its creation. Crossdressers today live in a different world than those who came before them and enjoy freedoms only dreamed of by the founders of CHIC.
Today is December 17th, 2023, and I have a little over a year to collective whatever information I can about the early days of CHIC. I have been a member for over 30 years and so have lived more than half of it but will be relying on others who have been members longer for information also. I hope possibly former members who have moved on might reach out and share their memories also, so I have included an e-mail address for them to contact me.
I am not exactly sure how this project is going to develop and am sure it will change some as I learn more. The context will not that is history, and it is where I will be putting most of my efforts starting and 1975 and working forward.
