CD CONNECTIONS

I wrote in my last post about meeting with Beverly (VC 400) one of my CD connections from the Vanity Club which was a great getting to know each other. Thursday night I met with another Vanity Club sister in Las Vegas Michelle (VC 517) who is local and I have met with her before a couple of times. This is an aspect of belonging to a club that many people don’t utilize when traveling to a crossdressing destination.

UTILIZING CD CONNECTIONS

Making CD connections work for you takes some effort but it can be very rewarding in several ways. CD connections can provide at the very least safe advice where to go safely so you don’t have to experiment risking your life. They can also recommend good places to stay and dine based on your preferences and their local knowledge. Hopefully of course they can join you for some good old fashion socializing.

I have always been a social type people person and have a healthy curiosity about other CD’s and their backgrounds. Some of the people that you meet along this crossdressing journey you would never have met otherwise. Crossdressing is the common bond that made your CD connection possible that most likely would not have happened. I have learned something useful and many times valuable from the CD connections I have made over the years. Business and professional experience from their careers along with sports and other interesting tidbits. Once your rapport reaches a trusting level personal details surface and you can find more common areas like hobbies you both enjoy.

Hopefully the CD connections turn into friendships but that takes time and happens gradually if at all. Most of my CD connections will not become friendships because of time and distance constraints but they can still be good and valuable contacts.

The important this is to start making CD connections right away and see what develops from there over time.
