What is your classification, crossdresser or otherwise? A better question is why do you need one in the first place? I ask because I see people on Crossdresser Heaven and other places listing their classifications or inquiring of others which ones they should use. I understand why when you are clearing customs they have different lines for U.S. Citizens vs. foreign citizens which makes the process more efficient. Is their a process where crossdressers who use the Non Binary label are classified as such and get a better place on the roster? Are the people with the most labels placed higher on the roster? If you identify as Transgender or a Transwoman do all the other labels apply by default including Crossdresser?
Nobody should care or judge you based on what labels you decided on and I think most people on our planet don’t. Based on my personal belief that most of us do not pass in public or blend within 20 feet regardless of you preferred labels, so it doesn’t matter. When people see me out in public in places like La Vegas I make an impression on them in some way and they are going to most likely misclassify me. Which is to say they won’t use my preferred term Crossdresser or more specifically Heterosexual Crossdresser. They have no way of knowing how to classify me unless we get into a conversation so by default to what ever term they think applies based on where they get their information. I will get what ever label they think is appropriate whether it fits or not so the only thing that matters is they are satisfied with it. When I fade from their view the label does also and they won’t remember the encounter a week from now so why worry about it.
One thing that casino’s everywhere in the world have in common especially in Las Vegas is that customer are classified into two groups. Winners and losers and neither have a lot of time to devote to a crossdresser walking by. Give it a try yourself, walk down the center isle of a casino and see how many gamblers look away from their chips for an extended period.
Because many of my adventures are solo I had to make a decision years ago that I belong where ever I go. When I walk into a restaurant or any other establishment it is with the same confidence I would as a male in a suit and tie. I do attract a lot more attention in a suit and heels but I am a customer just the same. I have as much right as anyone else to be there and if I make any of the ladies feel underdressed its an easy fix. Attitude is very important when making a first impression because if you feel you don’t belong there people will agree. If you present as though you do they might not agree but won’t argue. Also if you give the staff an opportunity to give you a warm greeting it will be noticed by people and they will act accordingly.

The takeaway from all of this is that labels are not important and not really useful. What matters is that you have decided to dress a certain way that pleases you which is your right. Its not complicated just different so observe, move on, and enjoy your day. That’s it!
There was a popular phrase going around some years back “You be you” which I think is a good idea for all of us. Just be yourself without the labels and hold your head high, pull your shoulders back, point you toes forward, go out and have fun!

๐โค๏ธ Yes to all of this. ๐ Iโll definitely be sharing this post with my (Heterosexual Crossdresser, though labels donโt matter) husband! ๐
