To say that my crossdressing has evolved is definitely an understatement from decades ago only going to places where we met in back rooms of restaurants to today fully out in public. I now go out pretty much anyplace any time like this week in Las Vegas. My crossdressing comfort level has reached the point where I go out to dinner and shows in public often by myself. Last night my crossdressing destination was Ferraro’s Italian restaurant located just east of the Strip. I have been there many times and always been treated very well. The picture below is from a previous outing because things were very busy last night so I did not want to burden the staff for a new picture.

This trip the Consumer Electronics show is going on so the town is really humming and Ferraro’s is very popular with the attendees. When I arrived the man standing at the host station greeted me asking what my reservation was. When I told him it was Micki Finn party of one the young lady behind the computer found my reservation. She welcomed me back and then directed another young woman to take me to my table. This is where my crossdresser comfort comes in handy because we had to walk through the main dinning room to reach my table. The room was full and a couple of people took notice but gave no clues as to what they were thinking. That pretty much is the case where ever I go as people are not shocked anymore and pretty much don’t care.
RESTAURANT CROSSDRESSING COMFORT LEVEL.
It is important to recognize the positive experience I have is that the restaurants crossdresser comfort level is very high. Instead of it being seen as a negative their enthusiasm and warm reception influences the patrons attitude. In my view the overall attitude of the general public is a mix of ambivalence and acceptance with possibly a tiny bit of negative although its not visible.
The acceptance makes the positive attitude makes the overall experience much better which in turn gives me the crossdresser comfort level I enjoy.

Miss Micki, I am no where close to your experience level when it comes to crossdressing. But I have gotten out in public many times, solo and with another crossdresser, and have had similar experiences. Some folks notice and give a double glance or don’t seem to care, and others don’t even notice. It is like a non event.
For me, that makes crossdressing much more enjoyable and even somewhat “therapeutic.”
I do appreciate your advice and encouragement for those of us who are less experienced.
I look forward to your next post.
Thank you, Staci in SoCal…
you are really there 100% when you no longer even think about it or are attuned to the reaction of others
