At any given time I have between 5 and 10 posts in draft form lingering. It’s because inspirations come to me and sometimes as I write my interest fades. I get so far and then just can’t think of enough good information to finish a quality post. I shelve it for a while then revisit from time to time to see if I can add anything.
CROSSDRESSING FIRSTS
Crossdressing firsts falls into that category although its migrated significantly from the original concept. Like many crossdressers and “T” people of all persuasions I am waiting for the opening of Keystone. It has been over 20 years since I have been to any “T” type event so it will be an education. I have shipped my luggage ahead and will be traveling light with a few last minute ideas. They came from me thinking and rethinking what the weekend will be like. In doing so I go back to my first convention which was my most significant crossdressing first. It was the Texas “T” Party in the early 90’s was not the first time I met a crossdresser. It was however the first I met over 100 crossdressers in one place. They were allaround me which made it better and was the beginning of many great adventures. That was followed by the Southern Comfort Conference where I met my crossdressing first 800 crossdresser’s.

Then there was the time we went to San Francisco again early 90’s at Macy’s at my favorite shopping ground. I was in the Chunky Chic section where I did most of my shopping when the sales lady approached. She did the typical “can I help you with anything” routine with my typical safe “just looking” response. Then she said “LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO TRY ANYTHING ON” which penetrated like lightning. Er ah what? This was most definitely a crossdressing first like never before and I took the bait. I quickly scooped up everything I was yearning for and walked over to the cashier area. She grabbed my stuff instructed me to follow her into the changing rooms. She hung my stuff up and told me she would be back to check on me. She would get a different size if needed something smaller or larger. It doesn’t get much better than that, I think I bought everything.
I can go on for ever with the amazing restaurants where we were treated like celebrities but want to finish with a special note. For all you ladies just venturing out for the first time in public, to a restaurant, or to a your first convention. Relax and enjoy yourself because you are going to have fond memories forever.

My first! Went to Esprit in Port Angeles Washington in 2005. New no one, never dressed fully, over 200 tgirls and supporters, including people from Portland where I live. Life changing. Instantly had a community of support and understanding. Also friends for life who we share our journeys with and socialize regularly. Enjoy Keystone it looks like the largest gathering in the U.S.
