Sometimes life gets in your way and crossdressing gets pushed aside for a time which, is exactly what happened with me for the last couple of months. I had to put my adventures on hold until I got some things squared away which, I accomplished after 3 months and was excited to re launch last week. Life got in the way again though in the form of a weather event that closed Seattle Airport down after my flight was delayed 5 times and eventually cancelled. To add to my disappointment and frustration after the fourth delay they had actually boarded us then told us we missed our window and un boarded us with delay 5 and a new departure promise. That was promptly followed with the official cancellation so I got my bags and went home. Maintaining my CROSSDRESSER PMA I rebooked everything for this week and the good news is I was already packed.
Now once I get to the hotel and start the Micki Magic of getting ready for dinner tonight I get to see just how many makeup steps I will forget after 3 months without practice. I’m staying at a different hotel this trip across the street from the Fairmont where I stayed last year with my friend Sherri. The Hotel Monaco is nice but nowhere near as elegant as the Fairmont and has more of an Art Deco look to it. The good news is that I did not forget any steps in the making Micki process and was ready a bit early for a change. My night got off to a great start with a wonderful compliment from an elegantly dressed woman that I held the front door open for. It pays to always be a gentleman regardless of how you are dressed because once she caught on she told me I looked beautiful and, she appeared to be surprised at who I was. I knew it was going to be a great evening from that point on.

Floating on air from my compliment I was off to Tulio Italian Restaurant which I have attempted to dine at before and always ended up getting cancelled for various reasons. I pulled it off on this night though and took UBER even though it was only a little over a block away for a couple of reasons. First was security because I don’t know the area and second I was wearing heels which don’t do well on hills. Seattle is not the city it once was and has had its share of problems in recent years so security is more of a concern when I visit here.

My commute to Tulio was all of two minutes and they were ready for me when I arrived. They were very busy and unfortunately the table selection for single diners was limited to a choice of two crappy tables. The first one by the front door I thought I might get used as a coat rack so I chose the one by the stairs.

My server was very attentive and I was welcomed and made to feel comfortable aside from a couple of customers who stared a bit. I did not get a negative vibe though and thought it’s just been so long since they have seen anyone dressed like me that they had to drink it in. I kinda stood out in a sea of denim, tennis shoes, and puffy nylon coats dressed in heels and such. I enjoyed the Caesar Salad and pork chop I ordered and can see why this place is a favorite and has been around for so long. The only down side is the cozy little bar that they have closes at 9PM which unfortunately is the same for my hotel bar at the Monaco.
I don’t know what’s up with the early closing times but safety is the first thing that comes to mind for me so maybe defunding the police ain’t such a good idea.

Miss Micki…. Sounds like you had a nice time. I enjoy hearing your crossdressing stories. Good advice for a late blooming newbie such as myself. As for Seatt
Well done! Glad to see you are out and about again! xoxoxo
Thanks. I really missed being out.
