Attending monthly CHIC meetings always involves some Friday night crossdressing fun on the town. I have not been to Nico’s for a long time so was very much looking forward to going there. It has been a favorite for many years always providing a safe friendly environment for me and my friends.
It is nice when the staff knows you and greets you at the door with hugs and a smile. Mackenzie the bartender at Nicos came over with hugs and smiles for Sherri and I. She is pictured center in the picture below. She had my cosmo made before I even ordered it and handed it to our server instructions where to deliver it.
FRIDAY NIGHT CROSSDRESSING FUN AT NICO’S
After our excellent pork chop dinner we retreated to the bar for some socializing with the civilians. Nico’s is away from downtown Long Beach and has a neighborhood bar feel to it. The clientele is friendly and rotates as the night goes on. The crowd pretty much changes every two hours starting with happy hour people followed by the dinner crowd around 6 P.M. Around midnight the locals that walk from home to the bar finish out the night. Nico’s had a different vibe that night with a younger mostly male that was pretty loud so we did not engage anyone in conversation.
Sherri hailed UBER for our ride back to the hotel where we encountered more loud people although they were younger. Two middle aged couples who while very nice were also really loud. Their conversation actually impacted ours so we gave up and called it a night.
Nobody paid much attention to us gurlz just out for the evening.
