This week at the TG Rocktober crossdressing party they had a very good turnout with almost a 50% increase in attendance. This year is the largest of their 12 years with over 150 attending.
I arrived Wednesday evening too late for going out so just checked and got some dinner. On my way back the room I stopped at the lounge for a drink. The band that I took the picture with last month at the MGM was playing.

Not long after I sat down two other musicians out of the crowd joined them with saxophone and trombone. It made for a very enjoyable set and the crowd loved it.

After a couple of drinks I was off to get my beauty sleep for the beginning of TG Rocktober crossdressing on Thursday.
TG ROCKTOBER CROSSDRESSING
Last year was my first at TG Rocktober crossdressing and I did not know what to expect so I just observed and evaluated to see if it would work for me. I loved the hotel and everything that they offered in the way of amenities especially the Tuscany Gardens restaurant which is now Bistecca Steakhouse. The Piazza Lounge described above was a big hit with me because I love live entertainment and everyone there was so welcoming. I did end up eating by myself on the two unstructured nights which seemed like a waste being that here were just under 100 people attending. It seemed like regular attendees were making plans for dinners and events aside from TGR so if I came again I would have some work to do.
I decided to attend TG Rocktober crossdressing again this year and did some up front research and reached out some Vanity Club sisters for advice. I was able to gain some insight into how things ran and eventually reached out to members of the TGR online group seeking possible dinner mates. I was betting there would be some first time attendees in the position I was in last year. I made a dinner reservation for four at Bistecca Steakhouse for Friday the 1st free night and waited to see if there were any takers.

Thursday was the big TG Rocktober crossdressing welcome dinner at Bahama Breeze restaurant officially kicking off the event. I think 148 people attended which was almost everyone who registered. I was solo and fortunate to have a couple let me sit at their table for dinner. Last year was my first time so I wanted to make them feel welcome answering any questions that I could. We had a great time discussing everything from Cajun cooking to airplanes. It was their 1st Rocktober and I think they loved it.
The picture below is myself and the crossdresser half of that couple Carrie was taken at the Tuscany hotel bar.

I also ran into Vicki G below who saw I was alone last year when I wandered into Bahama Breeze. She is very outgoing and immediately asked who I was with then invited me to sit with her group which I did.

So the first night of TGR I met a contact from last year and met several others like Carrie and her lovely wife this year. I was introduced to many more that night but did not get pictures with them. The night ended in the Piazza Lounge at the hotel where the above picture was taken.
