At TGR you are on your own for Friday night dinner so attendees scatter about town to favorite places. I like to take a more laid back approach and set up an intimate dinner with people I think will be compatible. Friday night I shared one of my favorites in Las Vegas with a hand picked group of friends who now know each other. I brought together some of my Vanity Club Sisters some of which had never met and included one former sister. I invited Jane Holst VC 640 and former Vanity Club treasurer and Christina Napoli VC 650. I added Tonya Thomas VC 709 and her wife Nell along with former VC member VC 680 Ashley all from California and members of CHIC. What makes it fun is that they are from different locations but share more than wearing women’s clothing.

I chose Ferraro’s Italian Ristorante not far from the Tuscany Resort because I have been there on many occasions and not only the food but the service is superb. It is family owned, always crowded, and treated me as a lady always. Possibly it is because I respect their dress code and over dress a bit. I know the hostesses greet me with a welcome back every time I show up looking at the reservation list as they speak. They don’t remember my name but know who I am. Many of them have been kind enough to take a picture of me. I like to think I have made a favorable impression on them.

I’m glad this crew were all comfortable in public dressed because they sat us in the middle of the restaurant for all to see. Countless people passed by us with nothing more than a glance which, is what I expected from a classy clientele.
Our server was genuine Italian or a very good actor but I give him the benefit of the doubt. He was totally on his game taking wonderful care of us while not hovering or pushing us along. Our glasses were never empty and his knowledge of the specials and their preparation was impressive.
After dinner we went back to the hotel to socialize with some of the other TGR people who were wandering back in small groups from their evening out.
I am trying to get myself organized so I prioritize taking my solo picture first thing before the night gets rolling. Once it starts too many things are going on and it gets forgotten so this one was taken at midnight. Neither of my usual photographers were there or they would have pointed out the lack of contrast for my snake skin pumps against the floor.

In all it was a great night with friends at one of my favorite places in Las Vegas.
