The second day of my Transvestite / Crossdressing adventure in Las Vegas was much lower key than the first. The mall is full of summer stuff which makes sense being that it was 107 degrees when I was there. I did go shopping but is was in Duke mode instead of going through the hassle of making Micki then sweating it off. The only thing that I bought was a great pair of earrings that will go with one of my favorite bracelets and a $10.00 dress off the sale rack. I typically shop as Duke the first day when its hot to see if there is anything I really like in the stores. If it looks promising then I will dress as Micki on day two so I can try stuff on.

The highlight of the evening Saturday night was meeting my friend Michelle who lives in town and is always very gracious meeting me for dinner. Most of the time we meet at the Tuscany Resort in the Bistecca Steakhouse where they never rush us so we can chat all we want. From guns to girdles we cover a wide variety of topics and I always learn a couple of things from Michelle who has an interesting background. Our server was great and nudged us to order quickly before the wedding party of about 20 people sat down right after us. If our order went into the kitchen behind theirs we would be drunk before it arrived. Its been a while since I was there and disappointed that none of the staff I know was working that night. There is always the mandatory picture of each of our meetings taken by the young hostess cuz they take the best pictures.

We finished up with a drink in the Piazza Lounge then said our goodbyes and I headed back to the VDARA via UBER. They made me 15 minutes late for dinner after waiting about 20 minutes for the ride I eventually cancelled. It kept saying the guy was 3 minutes away the whole 20 minutes and he did not answer my calls or texts. I cancelled him and got another that arrived in 5 minutes. The VDARA Hotel and most of Las Vegas from what I could see was packed so all the Vegas is dead stuff online is B.S.

I was tempted to hang out with the civilians at the VDARA bar but I was tired and it looked pretty crowded so I opted to go to my room turn in early. It was a good thing because Southwest Airlines fell all over themselves the next day with numerous delays on my flight. Then after waiting 3 hours they cancelled me and rebooked me on another flight but not my luggage. That flight was delayed also which was comical and eventually what should have been a four hour journey took seven. My bags went 1,000 miles south of where they should and I went 1,000 miles east of where I should. My bags that were sent to San Diego were quickly shipped to Phoenix for some reason and finally delivered to my house the next day. I real 3 stooges day for sure where I was supposed to be home at 5 ended up after midnight.

I guess I will give Alaska Airlines another shot.
