There are many similarities in the way women and crossdressers approach eye makeup. We pretty much both are constantly searching for ways to improve our presentation and are open to experimenting. I am reasonably happy with my crossdresser eye makeup routine but recently made a discovery that I have incorporated into it. Some years back I used Laura Mercier cake eyeliner mixed with water and a flat brush dabbing it in between my eyelashes. It does a great job of defining your eyes but the technique can be tricky and if you blink it gets into your eye creating a mess. You end up using Q Tip to get the black liner out of the corner of your eye.
NEW CROSSDRESSER EYE MAKEUP ROUTINE

My crossdresser eye makeup routine now includes Prime Prometics Prime Eyes Glide Eyeliner and I also use their Primelash Mascara. I like the way it glides on smoothly and getting it in between my lashes is easy and most importantly if I should blink it does not get in my eye. It comes in 8 colors so you can have some fun with it for your own crossdresser eye makeup routine. While I use the black between my upper lashes I use the wood color which is brown on my lower lashes. I don’t use black on the lower eye because it calls attention to my lower eyelid wrinkles. Using the softer brown color with a little smudging gives definition without calling attention to the wrinkles. I see many older women still using black liquid liner on their eyes like they did in their 20’s which creates a harsh contrast. The sharp black line right next to the wrinkles draws your attention to it.
The Primelash Mascara goes on easily with no clumps but adds volume to my eyelashes. I have not had problems with it getting on my fingers or lower lid.

If you try their products I hope you get the same good results as I did.

Just a thought , lately I have been using lash primer from Mac , and Grande lash , it almost look like I have extensions, when I do my eyes I use a little touch of gold in the crease part of the lid , like you I keep experimenting all the time

Hi Micki!
I’ve never used the Prime products, but recently started using Maybelline Unstoppable smudge proof eyeliner in a mechanical pencil that looks very similar to Prime, and has had the same effect you describe. It has been a good balance between the harsh liquiliners and smudgy crayons/pencils.

Thanks Norah I will check it out.
