This morning I read Stana’s post RESTROOM CONUNDRUM on her blog FEMULATE.ORG which got me thinking about my own experiences with the ladies room. I have written about this before but things have heated up since then so I thought it deserved some more attention. States are passing legislation restricting bathroom use largely based on kids in school, not crossdressers going to bars but the laws apply just the same. Crossdresser and Transgender people make up less than 2 percent of the U.S. population so I don’t see us having much influence on the legislation accommodating our preferences. We need to plan our activities around the bathroom restrictions regardless of our opinions. Crossdresser peeing comes to mind more often the older you get, you can trust me on that one!

With a good crossdresser peeing strategy things can go pretty smoothly by planning ahead with a little thinking like buying gas a on a long trip. You know how many miles you can go before running out and make sure you don’t get caught in the middle of nowhere out of gas. Crossdresser peeing is the same way, so in my case I consume the majority of my liquids early in the day to get the hydration out of the way. During the Making Micki process of getting ready I go at the slightest urge and always the last thing before going out the door for the evening. Most of the time I will be good for the 3 to 4 hours of the evening until I get back to my hotel room.
The crossdresser peeing contingency plan has already been established long before I start getting ready for my night out because nature plays tricks on you. When you gotta go, you gotta go, and it becomes a priority real quick if you don’t have a plan so here are some ideas. If possible check out the places you plan to go ahead of time in guy mode or have a trusted friend do it for you. Look for places that have unisex bathrooms which are more common in smaller bars and restaurants and plan to go there. In large hotels and places like the Strip in Las Vegas many times they have event centers where concerts and conventions are held. There are bathrooms adjacent to the facilities that are typically open even when no events are taking place. You are less likely to run into women in those bathrooms when nothing is going on and any issues that could arise. You would also be less likely to run into anyone in the men’s room but I would not feel safe there because it is so isolated.
Paranoia is part of my crossdresser peeing plan and it does not bother me a bit I’m a better safe than sorry person. A little concern up front avoids out right fear and regret after the fact which leads me to photo’s. I cringe every time I see crossdressers taking pictures of themselves in the ladies room then posting them online. I see it as building the prosecutions case for them by providing evidence of a pattern over time. What prosecution? Here’s where my paranoia comes in and why I never do it. Consider this scenario. While your posing and blowing yourself kisses in the mirror a couple of women walk in who are former college athletes and not fans of us using the ladies room. They say nothing but, notify security who in turn call the police who track you down in the bar with your friends. They ask you to step outside where they ask you for your identification and question you about your photo adventures in the ladies room and your true intentions for the pictures you were taking. Why you feel the need to take pictures of yourself in the ladies room in the first place. It gets even better if you happen to have telescoping selfie stick in your purse like some do. Then you can explain that you were not going to use it to film under the partition taking pictures of women. You are being investigated for what ever they put in the report based on what the women complained about. If its illegal for us to use the ladies room in the state or city you are in its gets worse.

I could go on and on but the important point above is not avoid problems in the first place by planning ahead. In the scenario above, even if the police took no action there will probably be a police report with your real name in it somewhere in a database that may someday come back haunt you. Maybe without the photo adventure the women would have given you a pass.
A little paranoia is healthy.

One of the things I tell my students in my seminar deals with the ladies room.
Practice at home or in your hotel in dealing with hosiery, foundation garments, and clothing.
Go in, get in a stall and close the door.
Feet pointing in the correct direction.
Wash hands then leave. No photography!
Touch up your hair or lippy outside.
Here in Las Vegas, there is a whole spectrum of tourists who may or may not freak out over you.
Thanks Michelle. Good advice for sure especially the feet pointing in the right direction. Some gurlz don’t stop and think that ladies always sit of hover but never stand.
I guess that I am very lucky to live in Las Vegas. Every time I venture out I use the ladies’ rooms. No one here pays any attention at all. Hey, we have men wearing diapers on the Strip to entertain tourists. It seems that half the men who visit this city want a hooker, a transwoman or a crossdresser for sex. They could care less what restroom you’re using.
consider the odds–too much paranoia over something unlikely to occur
Interesting article Miki. I agree with Michelle’s take but I have only used the Washrooms in Vegas while there as Beverly. On the opposite note, i have been to sporting events and concerts where women come into the mens rooms due to extremely long lines for the womens rooms. I have never heard men complain and I jokingly once optioned for a lady to use the next urinal since she was ahead of me in line….she declined. I am very hesitant to visit the US right now due to the political tension. I miss my favorite dressing spot and hope to return soon and see my girlfriends again.
Hi Beverly,
I don’t know where the concern about visiting the US comes from. Tourism is a business especially in Las Vegas where nobody cares where you came from.
