Crossdresser satisfaction can be achieved by accomplishing a goal you have set but that’s not the only way. I am packing for Keystone which is a big project. Doing so has me reflecting on some of the good times I had with friends at past events. This will be my first convention in over twenty years so it will be interesting to see the changes.
Most of my gear for crossdressing stays in my suitcases so I don’t have to inventory them. I check to make sure there is enough makeup products and bring extra so I don’t run out. I try to make as many things as possible automatic so I don’t have to worry about them. For instance, when I unpack after a trip, I refill any liquids. These include alcohol and hair spray, which I keep in a small refillable bottle. Typically I also throw in another package or two of makeup wipes so I don’t run out.
CROSSDRESSING SATISFACTION
The big deal is always what to wear from head to toe which varies by the outfit. This is where my crossdresser satisfaction comes in as I start with the clothing I plan to wear. I mostly wear jacket & skirt combinations and occasionally dresses. Once those decisions have been made I select a wig that would pair well with the clothing colors. For the outfit above I chose a wig with a nutmeg color adding some reddish brown to the look. Next comes earrings, bracelets, and rings again based on the clothing colors but also any metal on the apparel . Silver buttons don’t work with gold earrings so the buttons dictate the accessory color.
Finally I choose my shoes and purse which work well with the outfit depending on where I’m going. Black kid pumps with a black kid purse for a less dressy look. The same outfit can be kicked up a notch by switching to black patent leather. Dressing up or down an outfit can also be done with jewelry selections for a glitzy or subtle look. My crossdresser satisfaction is greatest when I take a step back from the mirror and give myself a thumbs up.
I don’t get a lot of crossdressing satisfaction from dressing during the day as I am a glamour puss. I am not interested in blending but don’t want to look like a parade float either. A blouse, jeans, and ballet flats along with smaller earrings more conservative shorter wig are typical. If I am going shopping at the mall I wear thongs with about a 2 inch sole for comfort. Walking a hard or concrete floors is tough on your feet and the cushion helps.
Probably the most rewarding area of crossdressing satisfaction is with the makeup results. If I think it looks good I’m happy all night. Again I can glam it up which I always do at night or downplay for daytime. The foundation is always the same but my eye shadow is a lighter and my lipstick a lighter red color. I think every gurl I know feels the same way about their level of crossdresser satisfaction they experience. That last check in the mirror before you go out the door for your evening. The confident relaxed mood that accompanies it is wonderful.
