Because I buy my clothes based on my shoulder width alterations by a crossdresser seamstress are typically part of my shopping process. I have used several in Long Beach and one was very good, very dependable but somewhat problematic. My wife said she must have worked in a whore house because every time she made everything too tight on me. She was proven right one night in San Francisco at Farallon one of my favorite restaurants in town. My BFF Ashley and I were very welcome there and friends with the general manager so very comfortable and relaxed. That said you can never leave your guard down because it was just feet away from Union Square so many patrons were tourists. You never know how they will react to us, so I always waited for them to engage me instead of assuming anything.

One of our nights at Farallon I had to go pee so excused myself and went upstairs to the ladies’ room to take care of business. Our use of the ladies restroom was settled our first time dining there crossdressed. We were seated in the mezzanine and the GM came by welcome us and introduced herself. Later I walked past her in the mezzanine, and she inquired where I was going. I answered the ladies room downstairs and she told me I just walked past one. For some reason they had two restrooms for ladies and she had just directed me to use that one. From there on I tried to use that one because it got less use than the main dining room downstairs.
This particular night was no different as I ascended the stairs people could see me, but few knew where I was headed. As usual there was nobody else in there when I arrived. I entered a stall unzipped my skirt, sat down and did my business with no issues. When finished I stood and started to zip the skirt back up which is where it all went wrong. The zipper would not go up or down no matter what I did. I kept struggling with it working up a sweat in the process. I wasn’t alone forever as women came and went while I sat as quietly as possible in the stall. Asking one of them for help was out of the question for me because my comfort level for something harmless like that is still beyond my confidence level. Nothing like a sweaty guy in a women’s clothes coming out of a stall asking for help.

I don’t know how long I was in there but knew Ashley and the other person with us Donna had to be wondering what became of me. Every time women came in, I stopped moving until they left but listened intently to their conversations so I could gage when they were leaving. I heard some amusing stuff but could not let them know it. It finally dawned on me that if I could slide the skirt off, I could find out what the hell was the problem.
It turned out that because the skirt was lined the zipper got caught in it and jammed. After I got the skirt off and carefully jiggled the zipper it slides open and I could put the skirt back on again. Once the coast was clear I patted some toilet paper gently on my forehead to soak up some of the perspiration. I was confident enough touch up my makeup in the mirror and leave. I passed two women as I was leaving exchanged hellos and moved on glancing over my shoulder to see if the reacted. Nope! they just kept chatting as they entered the bathroom.
Naturally when I returned Ashley and Donna wanted what the hell took me so long and a truthful answer would take way too long. Instead, I told them that I ran into a couple of San Francisco 49ers cheerleaders in the bathroom and they had lots of questions. They ate their hearts out. Speaking of the 49ers I have another story about the night we ran into them and I chatted with the quarterback. Consider this a teaser because I am saving that for another post.
You can get an idea from the pictures above that the suit has been tailored to fit me, it just fit a little too good if you need to pee. From then on, no matter what the seamstress suggested when she was pinning things in place I had her loosen it up telling her I needed room when sitting. I also was very careful when getting to loosen my skirt making sure nothing bound up or got caught in the process. You can find some insight into crossdresser clothing here.
I truly loved that suit and would wear it today if I hadn’t gotten too fat to wear it!
