Well, I received my GIMMEE HIPS all in one garment in the mail yesterday and immediately opened the package to see if it was a winner or loser. I knew there was a chance the pads would be too small but loved the all-in-one concept that I decided to give them a try.
It was obvious to me right off that they would not get the job done for me. They are only 1 1/4 inches thick and would hardly be noticeable on my larger frame. The garment itself is very well made and the pocket system they designed impressed me so much I tried installing my Dress Tech pads in them. They fit inside but not well because they are larger shaped different from the Bubbles so the edges rolled over and could be seen under my clothes. I would recommend the GIMMEE HIPS for someone of a smaller build like around 5’8″ and 160 pounds that would not need as much hip as I do.
Not to worry though because I still have my Love My Bubbles Butt enhancer with gel pads that I will be wearing with the Dress Tech pads above both inside the Spanx Girls Short Thinstinks I just bought.
I have used the Girl Shorts before with my Classic Curves gel pads, but the Love My Bubbles Butt pads are a first for me. The concept is the same although aligning the butt pads should be simple because they are prepositioned in the pocket panty they come with. Once I put the Girl Shorts over them and slide the Dress Tech pads down into position I will be set. The important issue for me is to enhance my butt along with my hips for a more convincing female shape.
The CHIC Christmas party is just one week away, and my dress will show any ripples or bumps underneath so extra time on the foundation is critical.

I think everyone has moved on to other suppliers for their padding I went to procrossdresser.com and bought their smaller gel pads that are lighter than Classic Curves.
On another subject the CHIC50 website is up on the web at http://www.chic50.org and is a work in progress. I work on it when I have time and discover something relevant online from that era. Let me know if you have anything you would like to add to it.
