There are many different varieties of dresses available to crossdresser’s but the larger the size you need the more the selection shrinks. I am in the lower part of that large category and typically buy women’s regular size 16 for some manufacturers like Calvin Klein or Tommy Hilfiger and size 18 for others. If the manufacturer offers women’s sizes like 14W or 16W in anything other than a tent style I will look at those also. Sadly Donna Karan who I love does not go above size 16 regular but that bust is two inches smaller than Calvin Klein or Tommy Hilfiger so a no go for me. I just became aware of the DKNY (Donna Karan New York) label a couple of weeks ago when Macy’s sent me an add and was pleasantly surprised.
The size range for the DKNY label is larger than the regular Donna Karan one. It looks like they bought the patterns from Calvin Klein or something because the sizes are identical along with the hardware of the dresses. Below is a screenshot of their size chart with the larger sizes. Macy’s is not offering anything beyond 16 at this time but the fact that DKNY lists them means someone is selling them.

Below are two of the dress fabrics Macy’s is offering with size 16 being the largest. Amazon also is offering the same dresses but when it comes to the size XL they give a range between 16 and 18 what ever that means. I just received the dresses I ordered from Macy’s but have not worn them yet. I will post some pictures once I wear them on a future adventure.
You can click on the pictures to go to Macy’s website.

The dresses below I own are from Calvin Klein with a 16 regular on the left and a 14W on the right which are virtually the same. I love the way the faux wrap dresses fit which are very comfortable to wear and look great.

Pictured below are screenshots from Amazon that offer a lot more fabrics in this same style. You can click on to see on their site.

The ladies going to Keystone still have time to get these dresses if they hurry and get their orders in.

Nice article, Micki! It looks like we both have a fondness for wrap dresses. I’ve recently discovered some of the reasons why this style is so flattering, especially on CDs. Wrap dresses are flattering because their design naturally shapes the body. The adjustable tie creates a defined waist, while the diagonal wrap line draws the eye inward and helps create an hourglass silhouette. The V-neckline elongates the torso and softens broader shoulders, and the gently flared skirt adds movement and balance through the hips. Together these elements create a feminine, well-proportioned look that works beautifully across many body types.
Thanks for the comment Marie. I agree on the wrap dresses but have to clarify that these particular dresses don’t adjust but flatter non the less. I would also add for the readers that along with the V-neckline on a dress made from one color or pattern makes you look slimmer.
Best,
Micki
