Typically my crossdressing Sundays are rare even when I don’t have anything planned for the next day. Sometimes I just prefer to hang out as Duke even if I plan to go shopping for Micki. It’s nice to wake up without a plan and see what develops as the day progresses. This month one of my sisters from CHIC was staying in town Sunday night after our club meeting Saturday night. That created an opportunity for us to go out three nights in a row.
CROSSDRESSING SUNDAYS
Sherri gave me full reign over where we went because I know the area well and she is from out of state. In a situation like this I always try to select a place people have not been to before. It makes it more of an adventure and if I do it right a memorable occasion as well. I chose the 555 East Steakhouse on the eastern of of downtown Long Beach.

The 555 as most people call it has been the #1 steakhouse in Long Beach since it opened in the 1980’s. It is only blocks from the Long Beach Convention Center and is wall to wall people when the center has something going on. I thought we could probably have a relaxing crossdressing Sunday dinner because it might not be too crowded.

I would very much enjoy walking up to the empty bar above left with two attentive bartenders waiting for me. That picture had to have been taken before they opened because I have never seen it less than two deep. Fellow CHIC members Tonya and wife Nell joined Sherri and I for our crossdressing Sunday and we had a great time chatting although I wasn’t exited about our table. It wasn’t terrible but I hoped for better then again considering they were packed that night I shouldn’t bitch.

This just happened to be a crossdressing Sunday for us but I have been to the 555 many times over the past 25 years or so and they have always been warm and accepting. Definitely not cheap by any standard but great food and service and an all around classy place. It has been my experience that crossdressers are always treated very well here because we act like ladies.

Ah yes Micki , one of my favorite places , I can’t count the Dinners we have had there , do you have any pictures from the Sky Room at the old breakers Hotel we used to attend every couple of months, It kinda takes me down memory lane , Susie
Hi Susie,
No pictures just memories but they have finally reopened recently https://www.fairmont.com/breakers-long-beach/dining/sky-room/
You are always so put together and stylish. Lovely and just something that finally caught my eye. You have a lovely engagement/wedding set. It really does make a lovely accessory and addition to you already lovely styles. Would love to see a showing of it and the story behind it too.Thank you
Hi Dee, and thank you for your compliments. There is no real story behind the ring set which I purchased on my own. I have always worn wedding rings since my wife bought me my first set in silver years ago. I still wear that set with silver jewelry but have bought others to go with gold.
