Many crossdressers will be gearing up for travel to the crossdresssing events happening in the next couple of months so I thought I would share some tricks I use to make things a bit easier. One of the goals is to avoid embarrassing disasters like one of your breast forms bouncing down the conveyor onto the baggage carousel for everyone’s entertainment. No, that did not happen but easily could have so I was lucky because I had them in a draw string bag.
I have traveled hundreds of thousands miles in my life with over half a million on this particular airline and never dreamed something like this could happen. I mean it is certainly possible but I had thought people were just not that stupid. To put a completely unzipped suitcase upside down with all the contents spilling out in a large plastic tray on the conveyor. Then send it down to the passenger in full view of all the others watching for their luggage. Unbelievable!

I learned despite all my travel experience that I needed a MORON PLAN because they are out there and can strike when least expected. Fortunately the solution is inexpensive and available at Amazon and helps with organizing your trip.

Amazon Basics Lightweight Packing Cubes for Travel, 4 Piece Set With Double Zipper Pulls and Mesh Top Panel, 100% Durable Polyester, Medium, Red
I purchased two sets to give me 8 cubes in bright red so I don’t leave them in the hotel room when I leave. They are so bright it can’t leave them behind when packing to return home. My gel hip pads and breast forms go in one then zipped up tight. To keep me organized better when on a trip I place the skirt and jacket outfit I plan to wear each night in one along with the jewelry accessories I chose for it. It’s the same for dresses except I can usually put two in a cube. The pictures below were taken for an older post before I used cubes but the planning process is the same. I figure out what I want to wear which in this case is a jacket and plane black skirt combination. The skirt is on the hanger under the jacket which I sometimes hang somewhere so I can see what it will look like with the shoes and purse I am considering. The next step is the jewelry for each outfit which in many cases my wife either chooses or approves my choices. The last step is putting the jewelry in a zip lock bag and putting it on the hanger by punching a hole in it.

The only change to the process now is the hangers are gone and the cubes are used in their place with the jewelry in the cube with the appropriate outfit. They are stack-able and fit neatly because they are rectangle.

I also use a different size for all of my heels to protect them from scratches or scuffs. I got them from Lands End.

The cubes also keep your clothes cleaner and avoids things getting spilled on them should something leak. I also keep my makeup in a zipped case so I have everything I need.

I don’t travel light as you can see the Micki Finn Road Show is involved.

That was very interesting yes been in that situation before that sounds like a great idea things organized less time worry
Yep! Smarter now.
