For some time now I have wanted to do something different than has been done with crossdressing events. Many of them both current and past have some sort of optional formal night attached to their final night dinner but none I am aware of ever did a stand alone crossdressing formal dinner. Paulette and I started discussing the crossdressing elegance concept last year and originally tried to set it up in Las Vegas possibly as part of DIVA Las Vegas.
We finally decided Las Vegas had too many unknowns so we chose Long Beach because I have great connections there with some restaurants having done numerous events with them. Long Beach eliminated most of the unknowns so after a great deal of planning and what appears to be flawless execution the crossdressing elegance of La Bella 2024 was held Saturday April 24th 2024 in Long Beach California. The La Scala Room at the L ‘Opera restaurant was our choice for La Bella 2024. We had 32 Elegant ladies from six states all decked out in floor length formal gowns. Of the 32 there were ten were wives and two S.O.’s supporting their crossdresser spouses.
I cooked up a couple of TOP SECRET surprises for all of the Bella’s attending the event. The first of which was as they descended the stairs into the La Scala Room they were greeted by servers with a complimentary glass of champagne with an etched La Bella 2024 logo on it for them to take home with them.
With their champagne in hand as they proceeded further into the room they were greeted by my friend Elle Choate playing her beautiful harp.
Unfortunately we had two wives who fell ill and could not make the event and two that arrived late that are not in the picture below but all were given a gold dipped rose. The golden roses were my wife’s idea to show our appreciation for the support our ladies give us as crossdressers. It has never been easy or their choice in life but their support is a testament to their love for us. The roses were presented by yours truly assisted by MeeShell as I thanked each of them.
Just prior to the rose presentation I said a few words of thanks for the support to all the ladies attending. La Bella sold out in just over 1 week (8 days) and although we had a few cancellations our numbers remained steady as they were replaced from the waiting list.
The one thing that I emphasized in my thanks to the attendees was that they did the three crucial things that made the event successful and the organizers job easier.
1st. They signed up!
2nd. They Paid up!
3rd. They showed up!
With that behind us the party went into full swing until a little after 11. Thanks to Paulette for providing the La Bella backdrop.
CROSSDRESSING ELEGANCE
It was truly a joy to interact with so many great ladies some of who I knew previously while others I just met this weekend. The connections were instant and in no time everyone was hanging out like old friends. The Attendees came from Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, California, Arizona and New Jersey. Besides crossdressing elegance one thing that most of us had in common is belonging to crossdresser clubs and some two clubs. The clubs with members attending were:
