In CROSSDRESSING PROCESS 1 I covered the process of selecting outfits based on where I am going. If you are a subscriber or a regular visitor to this blog you know that blending is not a goal for me. I always dress to impress which justifies the time investment I make in getting ready. I invest too much time getting ready to look like another shingle on a roof!
Once I have everything laid out that I will need to accomplish the Micki Magic I connect my Bose Bluetooth speaker to my iPhone. Then I select the Micki list for music so I can get in the mood with ABBA and Shania Twain. Ideally being ready when Just Like A Woman starts playing so I can grab my purse and go out the door.
With my makeup case open and the boxes laid out according to when they will be needed and the magnifying makeup mirrors attached to the bathroom mirror I am ready to start.

I always begin with the eyes and the magnetic lashes which give me the most problems. I clean the lid just above the lash line with alcohol using the Q Tip then apply the magnetic lash liner. Then the lash follows and if all goes well the eyeshadow based on hair color and what I am wearing.
Once the eyes are perfect I apply foundation and contouring followed by the setting spray. This is just an overview of my process the menu above will take you to the more detailed step by step makeup process I use.
With the face done I get the body armor out of the way with shapewear, hips, buns, and boobs in place then move on to hosiery and clothing followed by wig and accessories. The jewelry has already been matched to compliment what I am wearing each night. For instance for the outfit I am wearing below I used a steel gray eyeshadow with white and pale pink accents. The previous night it was cocoa and vanilla to compliments the brown snake jacket.
The final step is the fingernails which are applied using gel tabs just before I go out the door.
I enjoy the entire process like its a dance and when people ask how long it takes me to get ready I always respond with a question. How much time do I have? If my plane is late and I have to rush its under two hours. If I have 5 or 6 hours it will be well used and I sometimes have to speed it up if I got carried away with my dancing.
My friend Michelle shares my dress to impress philosophy when she joined me for dinner at the Tuscany Garden restaurant last week in Las Vegas.

I really love reading this blog, but its a pain when I always get prompted to subscribe, even though I have subscribed for years and nowadays I can’t even get the prompt away with either closing it, which I can’t do anymore and making a new subscription doesn’t help either
Hi Clarissa,
Thanks for bringing this to my attention I will find out what is causing it and correct the problem.
Best,
