Seattle crossdressing is not new to me as I have done it a couple of times before COVID shut things down. I chose Seattle for several reasons one of which was to check out the Hotel Sorrento I talked about in my previous post CROSSDRESSING ROAD TRIP. I will be telling you more about the hotel in my next couple of posts along with my daily adventures. Another reason that I chose Seattle was to check out how safe the city is after all the protests, demonstrations and basic unrest along with the homeless issue in the Pike Place Market area.
Although the main goal of the trip was Seattle crossdressing after evaluating my shopping options I chose to go Nordstrom’s as Duke instead of Micki. The reason being that there is no Macy’s store in town any more or other equivalent. It seemed like a waste of time getting all done up for just one store and I did want to wander around unfamiliar territory crossdressed. I just walked up to the MAC counter in the store as Duke and asked for cream foundation based on my skin tone along with a darker shade for contouring. She told me they stopped selling the cream foundations and offered me the liquid they offer. She looked over my tan old man face and decided on a shade that worked very well. I agreed and asked what the number was only to find out it was what I currently use. I have some at home so thanked her and bought nothing but checked out the shoe section and left.
It was still before lunch time so I devoted a couple of hours walking around the Pike Place Market and surrounding downtown area. I did not see anything looking like a protest area the whole time I was in town. I did see a number of homeless and obviously mentally ill people in the downtown area around Pike Place at 2nd and 3rd streets but no worse than I have experienced in San Francisco for decades. Don’t take that as an assurance that Seattle crossdressing is safe you always need to aware of where you go in any city.
SEATTLE CROSSDRESSING DAY 2
With those questions answered and the afternoon moving along it was time to head back to the hotel to start the process of making Micki and indulge in day two of my Seattle crossdressing adventure. I was really looking forward to Tuesday nights dinner because it was a place that I had heard many good things about. The Metropolitan Grill is a high end downtown restaurant serving many of the business people entertaining clients. I thought I could provide them with some crossdressing entertainment Micki Finn style. Its fun going in upscale places and checking out how people react to you which years ago could be entertaining.

I made a 7 PM reservation for one person and showed up early by just a few minutes and was greeted by a nice French lady who took the picture of me inside when I was leaving. She took me through the restaurant and seated me at a nice booth with a great view of the action.

The restaurant was full and nobody gave me more than a glance other than the serving staff who were outstanding especially Sean who was the head server. Never missed a beat with pronouns or anything else and served me one of the best New York Strip Steaks I have had in years, amazing flavor. When I finished and paid the bill I took extra good care of him in appreciation of he and his team. What I found interesting was they automatically charge a 20% surcharge which is kept by the restaurant because they pay all of their staff on a bonus system so everyone participates. Tipping is optional but appreciated so I gave some cash just to show my appreciation.

I hope they add my Seattle crossdressing picture to the wall behind me soon with all of the other celebrities!
Topping off my night at the Metropolitan Grill was the e-mail I got from the restaurants general manager the next morning thanking me for visiting the restaurant and telling me they enjoyed having me. He then encouraged me to return soon and gave me his special e-mail reservation link so he can make sure I am well taken care of. Maybe he does that for everyone but, it made my night and Seattle crossdressing adventure even more memorable.
