TG Rocktober 2026 night 2 got off to a great start with our dinner a bit later than night 1 to accommodate those of us going to the Sphere afterward. We decided it made sense to just walk across the street from the Tuscany where we were staying to Lawry’s Primer Rib. I made a 5:45 reservation so we could leave for the Sphere around 7:00 to get there when the doors open at 7:15. The food was great, but the kitchen was slow and we had to get the manager involved. We got our food about 6:45 so those of us (2 people) going to the Sphere had to choke it down and leave. The others did not have pressing schedules so hung around and enjoyed their meals.

We got to the Shere just as the doors opened at 7:15 which eased some of my concerns when there was not a huge line ahead of us. We breezed through security and headed upstairs to find our seats. It is amazing that that entire facility is seated in just 45 minutes because the show starts at 8:00pm sharp and they will not seat anyone once the show starts. That said, there are people who get in but head to the bar or snack bar so and up interrupting you after the show starts. I don’t want to ruin things for anyone so won’t talk about the show, which you will have to see to believe anyway.

While the Sphere’s seating process is very efficient getting thousands of people seated in 45 minutes once you leave though it gets very challenging if you UBER or Lyft home. They usher you into one of 4 waiting areas based on who you are riding with, and your driver picks you up at that area. The cars drive up in between the waiting areas to pick you up which, takes a Little getting used to. They told me to go to “A”, so I did and when my driver was about two minutes away, he texted and told me to go to “C” but luckily, I saw him right away and got in the car.
I got back to the Tuscany in just a few minutes and joined the people in the bar. Getting a late start I stayed too long, drank too much too quick and felt it the next day
