The last night of TG Rocktober 2026 I got together with some past a present Vanity Club ladies at Ferraro’s Italian Ristorante not far from the Tuscany Resort. There were just four of us Jane, Katie, Christina, and me which made for an intimate dinner. They made us feel welcome as I knew they would as I have dined there many times by myself along with others. Ferarro’s is a fairly quiet place, so conversation is fairly easy to do which I enjoy.
I have written many times about Crossdresser acceptance by the general public and this night it got a big boost I think when Mimmo Ferraro the executive Chef and son of the founders stopped by to check on us. Jane engaged him in a very complimentary discussion about the food and service, and I made sure to mention my veal piccata I ordered was superb. Everyone who walked by along with other customers witnessed the discussion. If they clocked us as crossdressers, then they saw the acknowledgement of us by this elegant mainstream restaurant. If they didn’t clock us, then I must have done something right by accident. Unfortunately, nobody thought to get any pictures so here is the one from last year minus a few folks, but Christina is on the left and Jane on the right.
After dinner we headed back to the Tuscany where the others were meeting up to head to that night’s event at the Troy Nightclub downtown. I opted to hang out the Tuscany’s Piazza Lounge for a more relaxed evening and meet some new people and chat. Things were pretty quiet until about 10 pm so I used the opportunity to get some pictures of my very different outfit. I am disappointed in the dress because the color is chocolate cherry with tan spots but is so dark it looks like black and white which I already have. Even the navy and white one I have looks like black and white, but I tried. The whole purpose of the nude shoes and purse was to go with the chocolate/tan. I still like the dress though so maybe I will wear it in the bright sunshine someday.
I did manage a couple of conversations with Ali I think her name was and her lovely wife that was great talking to. Sorry but I am terrible with names and the band was playing loudly. Lots of Crossdressing type subjects which I always enjoy discussing with wives to help in any way I can. It was an early night for me because I still had packing to do in the morning. So now only 300 plus days to TG Rocktober 2027 which gives me time to shop!
