For a Long Beach Crossdresser there is no shortage of places to go all of which will most likely be welcoming to you. The newly reopened Breakers (Fairmont) Hotel was no exception when BFF Ashley and I reunited after not seeing each other for several months. It was fitting that we went to the new Sky Room at the Breakers to see what they accomplished with their 3 plus year renovation. But first we had to go through the new entrance with all its splendor.

The hotel was originally built in 1925 and opened the next year. It was purchased in 1938 by Conrad Hilton whose son Nicky was married to Elizabeth Taylor. Besides Elizabeth it was a hangout for such stars as Cary Grant, John Wayne, Rita Hayworth, Clark Gable and Errol Flynn. The new restored hotel has kept much of the old decor which qualifies it as a VINTAGE HOTEL on my list. Any Long Beach Crossdresser who wants to feel elegant I would recommend putting on your most classy dress and stopping by for a cocktail.

LONG BEACH CROSSDRESSER SKYROOM STYLE
The Sky Room restaurant pictured below has been completely remodeled with pretty much the same foot print but updated and improved the flow. Fortunately they don’t have entertainment anymore in the room so I did not have to eat with a saxophone in my ear like a few years ago. The entertainment is on the roof and the lobby level so you can enjoy your dinning experience. For this Long Beach Crossdresser it was a very welcome change.

The food and service were excellent but unfortunately we left hungry as they did not offer bread or rolls. The menu is unique but, a little too unique for my liking so will give it time before I visit again. I would highly recommend and Long Beach Crossdresser stopping by fro drinks though.
Although the hotel is very elegant unfortunately some people don’t take advantage of the opportunity afforded to them and dress up. That gives any Long Beach Crossdresser a chance to outshine everyone else so dress your best so do us proud.

It looks like I am going to be able to make the November 8 TH date , should we go there for old time sake or hit one of our other favorites

Better to eat somewhere else unless they change their menu.
