Based on the title you probably think I am going to be talking about winter when crossdressers thrive because our shaved parts are hidden but you would be wrong! I am talking about summer when some go into hibernation but others persevere and continue to go out dressed. For many long sleeves and pantsuits or long skirts get you over the warm weather months until you can relaunch her in the fall. That is not difficult to figure out but crossdresser seasons makeup can be.
For those unfortunate crossdressers who never go out this is not a big issue but for those who are out and about it can be. Essentially where I am going here is that your makeup needs to change with the season in order to look your best. Pale ivory toned skin with the correct makeup shade is awesome in winter but in August if you are in a warmer climate you will look like a Geisha doll. While the contrast between your dark hair and face most likely will be fine your tanned arms, legs and hands will be out of place.

CROSSDRESSER SEASONS OPTIONS
There are several ways to address the crossdresser seasons challenge depending on the variance between summer and winter skin tones. If the difference is huge I recommend going to a makeup provider and getting the correct darker shade that matches your summer crossdresser seasons skin tone. MAC, Sephora, Ulta and every other makeup counter is doing it daily for their customers.

Even though the crossdresser seasons makeup difference is huge some just won’t be comfortable sitting at a makeup counter in public but there are still options for those crossdressers too. I recommend buying some liquid foundation 2 to 3 shades darker than your winter foundation shade and see how it looks. If it is too dark mix it with some of your winter shade until you get the correct blend for your summer crossdresser seasons look.
Finally there is what I do to address my crossdresser seasons dilemma which is to use a setting powder or bronzing powder that I can apply very lightly to darken my crossdresser foundation. With a feathered brush it is easy to just slightly change the tone and build gradually if needed.

The crossdresser seasons changes also allow for a change of wig color as many peoples hair gets light or blonde streaks in it crossdresser’s can see a whole new look trying lighter colors with their new foundation.
