Summer is a time of year that everyone looks forward to for all the obvious reasons enjoying the outside warm weather activities. I of course am one of them but there is a down side for me because my crossdressing sometimes goes into a crossdressing orbit or holding pattern as stuff gets in the way. Vacations and family activities impact the ability to crossdress as it seems there is some kind of organized conspiracy that plans something exactly when you were going to let the genie out of the bottle. You just have to circle and wait like a holding pattern over JFK Airport. You just have to wait for fall for things to smooth out.
Another frustrating aspect of my crossdressing orbit is the lack of shopping because I am not fond of the summer styles. None of the summer poolside fashions are of any interest to me so I concentrate my shopping activities for jewelry. Those of you who follow my blog know that I make most of my jewelry from items I buy on sale then modify them. It keeps my mind busy figuring out what will work with what and have a whole box of components. Much of what I do is to buy two necklaces on sale them cut them down into earrings and a bracelet. If the necklace is long enough there is enough for a full set with necklace, earrings and bracelet all matching.
CROSSDRESSING ORBIT JEWELRY
Periodically during my crossdressing orbit I rummage through all of the left over components to see if there is enough to create a truly one of a kind item. Sometimes a necklace while beautiful is cheaply made and many times cast of low grade metal to keep it light weight. They would not hold up well as a bracelet getting banged around and caught on things. I use them for earrings and necklace parts to keep them out of harms way. The necklace below is concaved on the back side and made of cast material so while it looks heavy it is very light. I purchased two necklaces on sale and used part of one to make earrings and the rest to add some length to the other one.
