The higher profile you are the more this topic resonates with you because we all think about our crossdresser vulnerability. That is not to say that those live a more low-key lifestyle are not concerned about it also we all share the same issue. One exception might be mature crossdressers because in many cases they are retired so they have less crossdresser vulnerability career wise. I can say it’s very liberating not having to worry as much as when I was younger.

While the crossdresser vulnerability is less from a career standpoint family is another issue entirely because they don’t know about Micki. My wife and I have gone to great lengths to keep it that way which is why I don’t dress within 300 miles of my home where everyone lives. I have no complaints because I enjoy traveling and it’s fun to change the scenery each month with different towns, hotels, restaurants and people I meet along the way. In a way I think it is also safer because nobody knows in advance where I will be and when.

On the street when I pass people, I’m gone before they have a lot of time to process what is going on. For safety reasons I avoid the street and use UBER door to door most of the time. I am always mindful of a different crossdresser vulnerability from a safety perspective because there are a lot of crazy people out there. People have been assaulted for no reason by mentally ill people, so I minimize contact with crowds. UBER makes good sense because I have so much information on the driver before I even get in the car.
I also minimize my crossdresser vulnerability by being careful where I go and planning the evening well in advance of going out. Nicer places usually have a security plan that you are not aware of but is there, nonetheless. Even though it’s a classy place rich people get drunk too and some cause problems, so security is necessary. In all the years I have been going out and all the places I have been to I have never been uncomfortable in the slightest way. There was an incident in San Francisco many years ago where a cab driver complained about our perfume, but we ignored him. Actually, it was more like whining and he was no match for 3 crossdressers anyway.
I’m not trying to scare you or tell you not to go out and have fun just beware and make yourself less vulnerable.
