Daytime crossdressing for many of us is a no brainer provided the opportunity presents itself. Over the years I have developed more of a take it or leave it attitude towards it. Back in the day when there were many opportunities to try on dresses in stores like Macy’s, Nordstrom and Dillard’s in Malls I dressed during the day. Daytime crossdressing now is different with far fewer brick and mortar stores in malls or free standing many time I lack the motivation. Portland has a Nordstrom but no Macy’s and no other stores of interest so I did not bother packing an outfit for daytime crossdressing.
I got up Saturday called and checked in with my wife then dressed as Duke and walked down to my favorite lunch place in downtown Portland. Huber’s is the oldest bar in Portland first established in 1879 nearby and relocated to the current address in 1913. It is a virtual hole in the wall from the street with a plan door and small sign. It reminds me of a speakeasy from the 20’s.

It is too early for me to drink anything alcoholic so the reason I go there is for the turkey cream cheese and cranberry sand which is awesome! They don’t offer french fries because they are famous for their coleslaw which is sweet and creamy and comes with the sandwich.

Even though I was not daytime crossdressing I have been here with friends who were crossdressed and it was no big deal. For me its easier to pass on the daytime crossdressing because Duke only needs 20 minutes to get ready. Then I have the afternoon completely free to make Micki ready for the dressy night out.
Micki always does a better job of getting ready after an amazing turkey sandwich so I highly recommend it.

I would add that your day time makeup should be less obvious than night time glam. Some powder to take the shine off, eye brows, modest lashes, and subdued lippy. The Brits use the term “dress smart” for day time.
Great point Michelle!
Thanks,
Micki
