This months adventure was another rendezvous with a friend from Sherri from Portland who met me in Seattle for another adventure there. I always attempt to try new restaurants on my adventures and this month it was an elegant Italian place Barolo Ristorante that turned out being just across the street from our hotel. Like 900 feet so we just walked and saved on the UBER cost, CHA CHING! The place is very elegant inside and the staff was very gracious and accommodating. The food was excellent especially the desert which was a very different take on the traditional Tiramisu. The only downer was the place was almost empty by 9 PM so unless they get late diners business is down.

I had the young hostess take some pictures of both myself alone and with Sherri but should have turned the flash on for her because I think we needed it. I figured everyone under 30 was an expert with taking photos which was not a good idea. The manager was eager to try his hand at it and suggested some different places but we needed the flash anywhere inside the restaurant. I suck at picture taking but I guess I am going to have to work on that.

We headed back to the hotel after dinner for some possible outreach with the civilians in the bar who were plentiful when we checked in. Transvestite / Crossdressers are not a big deal with Seattle folks as a rule but we figured there had to be some tourists to chat with. There were but to our chagrin they were preoccupied with the people in there groups and showed no interest in us at all. It turns out that there was a big graduation ceremony that weekend for WSU so the graduates got all of the attention. We departed from the usual smaller boutique hotel on this trip and stayed at the Westin downtown which, I probably won’t do again. I am more comfortable in the smaller hotels with less chaos going on, no bad guys its just that nature of large hotels. So far the Fairmont is my preference where I have enjoyed meeting people who actually instigated the conversation.

I applaud that you get out there and do your thing which most of us do not.Am curious as to what motivated you to publish this website. (that publicity is one step beyond for me). I like the fact that you have no compunction re: engaging civilians. That really rounds off our experience
Hi Emily,
Here is a copy of the text from the second paragraph of the OVERVIEW page of my site titled MATURE CROSSDRESSING HELP. It explains the thinking behind starting my site.
Mickifinn.com is dedicated to helping other less experienced crossdressers become the beautiful lady they want to be avoiding the costly errors along the way. I want them to look their best, feel their best, and gain the confidence to go out in public enjoying the experience. I am not talking about being a passable crossdresser though. That is in the eye of the beholder of which I have no control. You can read more of my thoughts on passing in my PASSING CROSSDRESSER page.
